HOW TO CREATE A FREE WEBSITE USING WEBNODE.

Sign up and register your website - Upon signing up for an account with Webnode you get to choose the type of website you want to create. You may choose between "Personal", "Company site" and "Online shop".

After choosing your category, you have to name your website,  it will look like, www.lovespot.webnode.com, www.africaenvogue.webnode.com,  www.libertyline.webnode.com, - you can take a look at these website they are examples of website from webnode platform. 

You also have the option to choose a tagline. This can be a slogan or anything, it will constantly appear on the headline of every page in your website. 

The next step is to choose your template, there are many already made template for you to choose from, this is exactly how your website will look like when viewed in a browser. you are allowed to change your template anytime even after creating the website, 

The next step gives you the option to choose different pre-designed webpages like; contact, about gallery etc.. You can also add and remove as many pages as you desire so pick the ones that you think are needed and leave the undesired ones unchecked.

Finish by selecting the create my website button and there you go, a freshly designed website. you can create as many website as you wish,  and when you log on to your webnode account you will see a list of all your website, it's tagged "my project". 

To add content to your website just click on "manage website", it takes you to a page asking if you want to customize you website, at that page you will see a banner asking you to start editing you website, just click on it, (start to edit), this will take you to the website builder.

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL ON HOW TO BUILD A FREE CO.CC WEBSITE

First go to the CO.CC website. Create your new account. After filling the form completely press continue button for the next step

When you press the continue button the next screen will ask you again for retype your password and word verification.

 Press the continue button and go to the next screen. In the next screen you will receive a confirmation message. Now go to your inbox of your mail account and confirm your co.cc account by clicking the URL in the mail. When you click the confirmation URL a new window open with co.cc account confirmation. Then click the Get a New Domain option from the pages option. 

In the name box write your website or blog name to get the free domain name and press the check availability button.  

   If your desired key word available, you will receive the available message with out any cost press continue to registration button. you can register more than one free domain.

log into your account, you will see a list of your website you have created, e.g like www.gavinogroup.co.cc,  www.safetyinfo.co.cc,

just click on your website (the one you created) in the manage domain session,

then click set up, its at the same line with your website,

click on Name server (DNS), by this you are going to point your domain to a hosting server,

at the Name server session you will see, " Name server 1,  and Name server 2"

At name server 1, fill in  - ns01.000webhost.com 

At Name server 2, fill in - ns02.000webhost.com

with this you have succeeded in point your domain to www.000webhost.com (free hosting website), After that click set up. then you are done with first step, the next step is to host and start building your website. 

000WEBHOST - This is a free hosting site, there are other free hosting website, i think this is the best site to host free and i use it, its been amazing, and also they have already made website template you can choose from, and easy step by step guild to building your website. 

Just log on to www.000webhost.com,

click sign up,

fill in your details and click create my account,

note - fill in the website you have created, from co.cc

After creating your account it will take you to your webhost page, you will see list of you domain (the domain you registered, you can create more than one domain) , status -which read ''waiting for email confirmation, and action.

Go to your email for confirmation. after that log in back to your web host account, your status will now read, ''Active'', and under Action you will see ''Go to CPanel''.

Now you are ready to build you free website.
click on the ''Go to cpanel'' - this takes you to the main panel, the you will see

Under software/services, click ''website builder''  but if you know how to build with other software like php, mySQL, etc the you can use those ones, but if you are new just click website builder,


click ''http://builder.000webhost.com

It takes you to a page showing your website, username and password, 

click next >step 2,  it shows you different template, choose the one of your choice and 

click next> step 3,  At step 3 it gives you a form to fill in your information, like header, web emails, contact etc, After completing the form,

click next step to install, After the installation then your website is ready all you need to do is fill in your information. e,g create a menu, like about us, homepage, contact etc and start to input datas  as you want it to be seen by your viewers, alway click ''publish'' when ever you are done with a task, check your website all the time to see how it look like when inputing data.  YOUR WEB SITE IS READY FOR USE. To update always log on to your account, 000webhost, and click go to cpanel, and do what ever you want to do.
